Our beautiful red and creme toned satin square is dedicated to Toni Morrison. Toni Morrison is globally known for her literature in regards to the black female experiences. She also won a Nobel Peace Prize for Literature in 1993. Among Toni Morrison’s best-known works are the novels The Bluest Eye (1970), Sula (1973), Song of Solomon(1977), and Beloved (1987) and the nonfiction volumes Playing in the Dark: Whiteness and the Literary Imagination (1992) and What Moves at the Margin (2008).
